Panagiotis Tsintzos is currently appointed as an Associate Professor in the field of Fiscal Theory & Policy, at the Department of Economics of the University of Thessaly.

He received his PhD from the University of Macedonia, his Master’s degree in Economics also from the University of Macedonia, and his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly.

His main research interests focus on macroeconomic, fiscal, and monetary policy, and theory of economic growth. He has published in international journals such as: Economics Letters, Finance Research Letters, Economic Modeling, Economics Bulletin, Applied Economics Letters, Review of Economic Analysis, and contributes as a reviewer to journals of the relative field.

He also has experience in public administration and has participated in national and European research projects.
