Dr. Victoria Bellou is a Professor of Management, at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly and a member of EPI at the Greek Open University.

She has previously taught at the Department of Marketing & Operations Management in the MBA and Executive MBA, University of Macedonia and the TEI at undergraduate and postgraduate level while she has also served at a Human Resources Department, at a Group of firms.

She holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, a postgraduate degree (MBA) from University of Macedonia and undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven, USA. During her studies, she got scholarships from the Public Benefit Foundation Alexander S. Onassis Foundation Scholarship, the University of Macedonia, the Greek-American Foundation “Order of Ahepa” and the University of New Haven, CT., USA.

Her research interests include the examination of employee and consumer behavior, the human resource management, the management of change, management of public organizations and small medium enterprises.

The most important journals she has published research at are: Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology, Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Public Management Journal, Career Development International and Employee Relations.
